Yvonne Hanna was called home peacefully on Friday, February 17, 2023 in her home in Venice, Florida surrounded by her children and grandchild.

Yvonne was many things: a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, loyal friend, confidant, caring partner, wise woman, jokester, cheerleader, and champion bridge and bingo player.

Yvonne was raised in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and graduated from Cambridge High and Latin High School. At the age of twenty she won the Miss Cambridge Beauty Pageant.

She enjoyed many activities such as bowling, cake decorating, sewing, horseback riding, as well as teaching ballroom dancing at the Arthur Murray Dance Studio. She worked as a crossing guard and treasurer for the Wayland Police Department. She loved watching football and hockey and was Tom Brady’s biggest fan.

She raised 3 beautiful daughters on a farm in Wayland, Massachusetts that she named the Tri-H-Ranch in their honor.

She was a woman of deep faith who enjoyed teaching Sunday school and vacation Bible school and singing hymns.

Yvonne was an avid and successful businesswoman in real estate development and owned several hotels and vacation properties on Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

When Yvonne retired she enjoyed traveling and spent the majority of her time between Florida and Cape Cod, where she developed many long-lasting friendships.

She is survived by her 3 daughters: Michele O’Connor, Brewster, Massachusetts; Kimberley Baldini, Olive Hill, Kentucky; and Suzanne Hanna, Evergreen, Colorado. She has 5 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild with another one due in the fall 2023.

She has made a long-lasting impression on many precious hearts.
