  • Jim and Beth Luebe serve in leadership with Oaks International whose mission is to proclaim Christ and multiply disciplemakers for the glory of God and the joy of all nations. In 2024, Jim and Beth moved to Colorado to help fulfill their new leadership responsibilities. They also continue to minister within the New York Police Department (NYPD). In their work with police officers, they partner with the Health and Wellness section of the NYPD to provide training events three times a year for 300 officers. Additionally, they lead and host marriage retreats for police officers and their spouses. The focus of their work is still evangelism and disciple making. A current reality facing police officers within the NYPD is a 75% divorce rate. Mandatory overtime, shift work, and disrespect from the community pose unique challenges to their lives and marriages. Jim and Beth find that these challenges often provide open doors for the gospel. Following a marriage retreat one officer commented, “ Neither of us grew up in Christian homes so we haven’t seen healthy models of Christian marriage. We are still learning what it means to place Christ at the center of our marriage, but we are hopeful!”
